Mariachi Espuelas, established since 1991, consists of six to ten professional mariachi musicians, all with many years of extensive mariachi experience. We perform for all occasions, to include special Masses, graduations, grand openings and concerts. Free Radicals is (usually) an instrumental band featuring unsmooth jazz, anarchist funk and old school dub. We're into playing free shows, freeing our minds, free-jazz, freestyle rap and political freedom but we're not into the injustices committed in the name of free trade or living near freeways (even though we do). We have opened for the Sun Ra Arkestra, Rebirth Brass Band, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood, among others, and successfully played a 24-hour concert for charity.
Blues, rock, funk and soul in a jammy melting pot. Mainly catchy danceable originals with a few tasteful covers to top things off. Great for outdoor/indoor festivals, parties, BBQs, and bars, Sturdy Moss is also available as a show opener/headlining act for major concert venues.
From Corporate functions and wedding receptions to birthday parties and graduation celebrations, the Riviera Social Club band can help ensure that any occasion is a resounding success. This band provides diverse and lively dance music with rhythm(Pat Moran on drums & Donn Dixon on bass), keyboards(Steve Miller & Jim Young), and lightening licks by Steve Gilder. All five members combine precision harmonies and selected vocals to add to the package. With a mixture of Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Oldies, Popular and Country music, this band covers five decades of contemporary music. Harmonious vocals, outstanding instrumental abilities, danceable tunes and infectious energy provide a lively backdrop for any occasion. Our breaks can be filled with your choice from a large selection of music from our CD collection. Special requests are always welcome.
