Greeting from Fairland.... Fairland Bluegrass is a five piece “Family” bluegrass band from the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. We have been playing traditional bluegrass music throughout Wisconsin, and into northern Illinois for the past three years, and have gotten great reviews. Here are a few things some of the folks have been saying about the Fairland Bluegrass Band... My dad saw you perform at the East Troy Bluegrass festival and he thought you were incredible. He wanted me to tell you that he never heard anyone perform "Nearer my God to thee" the way you did. Michele Torner Good morning, We would just like to let you folks know how much we enjoyed your music on Sunday. We follow some of the local groups, but you folks have a sound that's wonderful and all your own. Just one question? The 3rd or 4th last song you did on Sunday had a fiddle opening and was just beautiful. Brought tears to our eyes. Could you let us know what the name of the song is and a little about it? Thanks. Also, the history about Fairland was very interesting. Thanks again and have a great day, Marilynn & Bernie Anderson Enjoyed your music in Baileys Harbor on the 4th. We were the people across the street in the shade. Sounds was good over there too! We are on the same road that Palmers are on. Also came to see you from Minneapolis. Kris L. Fitzer, We believe if people simply want to hear music, they will put in a CD. But, if they will put down hard earned cash to see a band, they should leave having been part of an experience. With The Fairland Bluegrass Band, they will experience heart felt ballads, and hard driving bluegrass standards. They will feel somehow “connected” to a family that truly enjoys making music together. They will find an escape from the day to day, and find themselves somehow transported to a mountain top somewhere in Kentucky. The “Band” consists of Neil Saindon on guitar and vocals, Teri Rass, on bass guitar and vocals, Calyn Saindon, on banjo and vocals, Hana Rass on fiddle and vocals, Dan Rass on mandolin and vocals You may come as a fan, but you’ll leave as family..... Thank you for stopping by! Fairland Bluegrass Band
