This band was founded on the basic principle that people want to have fun & dance with no end in sight. We enjoy giving people what they want at their affair with the desire to leave them wanting more. The strong suit of this band is variety. Repertoire ranges from the 40's big band, 50's doo wop, 60's Motown, 70's & 80's disco and classic rock to Outkast & Black eyed peas with everything else in between. Families range in ages as far as taste goes, so we are prepared to cover most anything people love to dance to. The experience in this band is practically incalculable. We help make our audience part of everything we do so the guests end up asking their hosts; 'Where did you get this band'' 'We had the best time at your party!' From the female vocalist that has a seemingly endless array of talent to the rip roaring sax player, to the tight and punchy rhythm section, this band can represent the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire to the most delicate ballad for those poignant moments every party needs. Not many bands can say they played a wedding for four hundred guests at the tented ice rink at Rockefeller center to entertaining all the VIPs at two Super Bowls. This is also an excellent corporate band. In short, our goal is to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. Our personal touch makes each and every party unique as well. We want to make sure that Brides & Grooms get to see their guests not only having fun but that time was spent preparing their tastes and needs as well.
The four seasoned impersonators, featuring members from the original Broadway Cast of Beatlemania, stunningly recreate LIVE the magic and timelessness of The Beatles, beginning with many of the songs that first caused the world to stop and take notice of the four mop-topped lads from Liverpool. Watching the CAST of BEATLEMANIA in their period dress from the early years through the "Sgt. Pepper" and "Abbey Road" days, takes an audience on a pleasant, eye catching journey down memory lane with the Fab Four.
In 2003, Drummer, Jason Enz, and Bassist, Chris Jackson decided to leave their band, The Verdicts, to start something of their own. After experiencing mutiple tours and recordings as previous members of Bayside, West Beverly, and Don't Look Down, both Jason and Chris knew what it would take to create a successful project. They recruited good friend, and former Standing 8 member, Bryan McCormick to play guitar. After they went through a few singers and instrument changes, they called on former Standoff singer/guitarist, Rob Maiorino, to handle the vocals. In early 2006, they took a few months to write and perfect a few songs, and in May, headed into the studio to record a four-song demo entitled "Press Rewind". Intense live shows have secured a local following, that is eagerly awaiting their next release which they are recording right now with their newest member, former Standoff guitarist, Ryan Hildenbrand. Sagtikos, who plays an exciting and catchy brand of Rock/Emo/Post Hardcore, is currently on tour and looking to play everywhere.
