Yamila brings the rhythm of her native Cuba to the Los Angeles Latin scene. She learned a wide variety of artistic talents from Cuba, Europe, and the United States. At a very early age she was enrolled in Cuba’s National Ballet School where she studied Russian influenced Ballet for five years and ultimately began performing as a soloist. Following that, Yamila continued her studies at Cuban’s National School of Performing Arts where she learned music, dance, and acting. Together with her family she began a series of performing tours throughout the country. Yamila’s passion for salsa music and Cuban culture catapulted her to fame with a growing number of Cuban fans that adored her style. Soon she was recognized as a TV icon appearing on her hit show “Para sentir amor”. The shows success launched her international career and she soon started touring several European countries including: France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain. While in Spain, Yamila participated in numerous televised programs as a singer, actress, and host. She performed in many of Spain’s famous concert halls in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. Her European tour was a success and she later traveled to several parts of South America and the Caribbean. In 2000 Yamila moved to Miami and there started to perform in the famous national TV show “Sabado Gigante”, Univision TV. In the same network she worked at “Caliente” show & Los metiches. She co host the show Luna Verde, channel 41. Yamila’s experiences and talents eventually brought her to Los Angeles, working on NBC, “King Pin” series, “Cante y Gane”, Azteca America and “De todo un poco”, Channel 22, Telemundo. She was invited to participate in the last season of the Mexican show “Super sabado”, Azteca TV. Mexico city. She also has performed in many Latin based venues. She has performed at the Mayan, Rumba Room, The Century Club, Mama Juanas and many other famous clubs in the Los Angeles area. She has also participated in several cultural events such as the Cuban Festival and the Latin American Festival, Day of Mexico Independence, among others. Currently Yamila is recording her fourth album and is working on many other projects that will debut soon. We can adjust the members of the band depending on the clients budget.
Ralph Gordon is concerned to be a very passionate smooth jazz saxophonist’s musician. Who has enjoyed a 20 years as a performing arts Jazz musician. He has performed many captivating jazz shows. He has performed and jammed with many most famous jazz and blues artists in the music industry. From Detroit (Back up musician for Motown’s Funk Brother) Teddy Harris to National know Jazz Saxophonist James Carter. Some of the count less jam session and show with artist Earl Klugh’s Keyboardist David Lee, Gene Dunlap, and Charles Green. Detroit’s All Female Jazz group Straight Ahead, World known Organist Jazz Artist Jack Mc Duff, blues star Larry MC Cray and Randy Burghdoff aka Bird of Motown hit group Rare Earth. Ralph influences came from many famous professional saxophonist and flutists Like John Coltrane, Grover Washington, David Sanborn, Art Porter, Donald Byrd, Bobbie Humphrey, Herbert Laws, and Nestor Torres. Ralph was born in Sacramento California and move to Lansing Michigan in the early 70’s. Ralph majored in music at Sacramento City College and Sacramento state University where he was in the Jazz Band. Whether Ralph is plays Standards, Rhythm and Blues, Pop, Reggae, Latin, Caribbean and Smooth Jazz music. Ralph stand in a class by himself. Ralph has recorded on Bank shot an Independent Record label and laid tracks in Ready for the World old school music R& B group working with music producer Bernard Terry. Ralph performed on the Michigan live talent show in Detroit’s’ Barden cable television cable station host by Brenda Wilson the daughter of Hall Fame singer Jackie Wilson. He’s band has won the first place best soldier show case talent awards in the United States Army in Ft. Steward , Ft Hunter Georgia , and South Korea. They were also Ralph’s band was named to the honorable mention list to the all world United States Soldier Talent showcase. Ralph has performed with former Young in the Restless "soap star actress Sharon Williams of attendance of 20,000 at Ft Steward Family Day event. Performing with Detroit’s recording singer Harvey Thompson of Detroit at the Pegasus in the Fisher Theater. Ralph performs at the World Famous Bakers Keyboard Lounge in Detroit Michigan talent with special guess violinist and Billboards top Smooth Jazz star Violinist Jerald Daemon Recording Artist and Bassist Nat Brown well know who perform with Bob James and Alexander Zonjic . Ralph has performed at many college campuses one of them being University of Michigan concert series top of the park and Michigan State University 1997 Million Man Teachers Conference in attendance of over 3000 teacher from elementary to college where on hand. Ralph was the honored host Jazz Group directed and produced by Detroit’s well-known keyboardist Charles Green. Ralph was also selected one of the performing acts for the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packer National Football League home opener season football game in attendance of 100,000 Indianapolis, Indiana. Ralph won best Continental Cable video of the month hosting his own Jazz Show. Ralph has performed in Sacramento at the Cooker Art gallery 2006 Grape Escape wine and food festival, and Cal Expo 4 July fire works celebration in attendance of 40,000 with Innersoul band.R&B2 band have been performing at Oshima FUBU natamos. Nitro Express is hands down the finest Country Rock band in Southern California.
