Swing Machine is an 18-piece Swing Band in the tradition of the Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington Orchestras. We primarily play the great swing era music of the 30's and 40's. However, our 3000+ chart library includes music from the 1920's to many of your favorites from today. The players in Swing Machine are all professional musicians, many having played with the service band such as the Airmen of Note, Army Blues and Navy Commodores - and some still do! Our players also have solo music careers, with CDs to their credit. If you are looking for the absolute BEST entertainment for your next corporate function or party, Swing Machine is the band you are looking for! Please compare the music samples of Swing Machine to the other bands you are considering, and you will see why Swing Machine is the premier Dance and Swing Band in the Metropolitan area!
The Overtime Band was originally formed to be a part time Beach Music Band in 1986 by our Keyboardist, Bo and has been entertaining crowds constantly and without any downtime ever since. Gregg, our Featured Vocalist and Sax Player extraordinaire, was one of the first members of Overtime and has been with Overtime since shortly after it was formed. T-3 originally joined the band in 1988 and was the band's bassist until going to Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in 1992. He ran sound for the band for a number of years after returning to the area in 1999. He is now back on bass holding down the groove and is the main booking contact for the band. John "JT" Tucker is the rock of the band on drums and has played with other area bands for years. Kenny took a little time away from music but is back on Vocals, Trumpet, and Guitar and better than ever! Now featuring five of the most dedicated, professional, and veteran members from the area's most successful and established bands, Overtime has been reborn and reinvigorated with an energetic, fresh, and entertaining group of pros. Our current lineup can comfortably state that cumulatively, our members have been entertaining crowds for well over 150 years! Our song list is extensive and everchanging and currently includes many Wedding Standards, Dance, Pop, Classic and Southern Rock, Beach, Blues, Motown, and Old School R & B songs. All of the music is played live and in a style reminiscent of days long gone by. We are LIVE musicians and our LIVE vocals are refreshing in an era of backing tracks, click tracks, MIDI Sequencing and full on music playback!. Overtime continues to use musicianship and a true love and respect for the music to bring you both a world class level of performance, and an entertaining trip down the memory lanes of your life at every engagement that we do.

We are considered a Rockabilly band. We play a mix of 1950's rock, mixed with country. Songs by; Buddy Holly, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Stray Cats, the Clash, Everly Brothers, and many more. We can be more country or more rock depending on the crowd. We have enough material to play three hours straight. We have our own P.A. and lights. People actually dance when we play!
