Classical, folk, baroque, medieval, celtic . . . the Mundi Wedding Ensemble offers all of this to Texas brides and grooms, and at reasonable rates. They are a quintet, with some players from the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Violin, guitar, cello, bass and timpani. For weddings they summon a rich orchestral sound; for receptions, folk dance music played with a true folk spirit. These talents have been recognized outside of the Texas market too. They have toured Spain and their cds (under the name Mundi) have been play on 400 radio stations around the United States and Canada. The Mundi Wedding Ensemble has four years of performance experience at ceremonies and receptions, and Falkenstein Castle in Marble Falls features Mundi in their preferred vendor list. To craft a selection for your service, the music director will meet with you two months before the wedding day. Pat Purvis, the mother of a recent bride, wrote:'Just a note to express my pleasure with the Mundi Wedding Ensemble and the spectacular music you all provided for my daughters wedding. It was perfect.'
The Fourfathers are based in the Peninsula and Marin County, near San Francisco. This band is a priority after our families and our careers. We play a mix of classic rock, hard rock and metal to get the crowd dancin' and rockin' all night long. We are all in it to have fun and contribute to our hearing loss, as well the hearing damage of our loved ones, and even people we don't know. Our passions lie in the diverse roots of hard rock, metal, punk and progressive rock, but we always search for songs that are familiar and strike a common chord in each of us. The Fourfathers are avid listeners of 107.7 The Bone and draw heavily from their Top 500 as voted by Bay Area Boneheads! We are expanding our repertoire: rock from the 70s, 80s, 90s and even a few 00s songs. But always with an edge and always better loud.
