About Us:

Tom Slick and the Converted Thunderbolt Greaseslappers were created in 1972 based upon a college glee club skit. We are a show band of the Sha Na Na genre. We began performing during the mid-seventies in and around eastern Pennsylvania. and have an impressive army of fans. Trying never to take themselves or the music too seriously, Slick has more fun than anyone has a right to. We are a party band specializing in high energy oldies rock and doowap. Slick plays festivals, clubs, private parties and fund raisers.

About Us:

“Every decision made is a new chance to define your self.” Between the Two is more than just an alternative rock band from Northeast Pennsylvania. Since the bands inception, they have sought to make an impact on their audience through more than just music. Above musical composition, each member shares a passion to reach out to anyone in need of help or support. They understand the significance of their role and ability to reach a wider range of youth through personal relationship and continuing contact. “As each of us continues to grow through our own struggles and learn from past mistakes, we make ourselves available to talk with our friends and fans to help them learn and grow with us," says drummer Brooke Gerhart. Every aspect of the band has been rooted in an idea that there is more to life than just life and death. The journey between those points is an exciting road filled with twists, turns, and intersections with other roads. Vocalist Brendan Gerhart adds, “The band’s name itself symbolizes the struggle that everyone, us included, goes through in the decision making process. As we go through life, we are faced with many difficult decisions. A decision itself implies the choice between different options. Every decision made is a new chance to define your self.” The name, ’Between the Two,’ explains this difficult time where there are struggles to make the right choices. Their name serves as a mission statement to challenge themselves and others to more responsibly and positively handle this time where we are all caught ’between the two’. Success can be defined in numerous ways. Between the Two can easily be described as successful in the thought process of a wide-reaching fan base, a much sought after live stage show, or critic acclamation. However the members of Between the Two view success on a more relational level. “We see success as a relative term. Success is far different than money or popularity. To us, success is defined by what we can give back to the world. Success is seeing the same people who listen to us and support us also come to us and allows us to be a part of their lives,” says bassist Joe Acor. Given any opportunity, Between the Two will continue to offer up all of the gifts, talents, and abilities that they have been blessed with. It is obvious that as each day passes their musical presence will grow. Yet more importantly, their hopeful message of positivism will continue to spread. Life is a journey filled with experiences and decisions backed by an amazing soundtrack. Decide and define.

About Us:

Hi, I'm mike lendyak. I just did a year solo on carnival cruise lines. I've done a solo for years. I'm 49 and have played every kind of gig you could name in the last 35 years. I've toured in Europe three times. Did a year with a band (Bullet train) at the Welk resort in Branson Missouri. I've played in bands that warmed up for everyone from George Strait to Ricky Skaggs to the Nitty Gritty dirt band. I also have played for George W. Bush and was on the old Nashville network. I don't think there's a state east of the Mississippi I haven't played in and a bunch west of it too. My band called "mike lendyak down and dirty" includes Kevin Travaglio on drums has played the "L.A. scene with a variety of Rock acts. I childhood friend of mine Kevin is quite a personality on stage as well as a real pro drummer. Also Kevin is our own lighting expert with years of stage lighting experience. On bass Randy Anderson is a solid bassist and background vocalist. He has done tons of local stuff. Also Randy did a few tours in and around Nashville with local favorites and former Capita recording artist "Daryl and Don Gatlin. Our new c.d. "Turn left" consists of original songs that have blossomed out of years of hard work and polish.
