About Us:

The Highest Priest was formed in 2005 in Greene County, MO. Over the past three years The Highest Priest has gone through extensive line-up changes and formed their own record label known as Greene County Productions, Inc (G.C.P.). They have been defining their own style by mixing the angst of their metal past and fusing it with a clubbish hip-hop feel to form the unique sound they have coined as Rawcore. They have an intellectual twist on the topic of marijuana and pro- legalization and they use this to spread awareness about the cause. From before the first note, The Highest Priest will completely capture the audience with a unique sound that keeps the crowd coming back for more. DWB excells in getting the crowd on the floor dancing and having a good time. Several clubs have told us we make them more money than any other band, dj or karaoke. The members of David Wilburn Band have many years of experience performing in clubs all over Southeast Missouri. With the newest top-notch equipment, laser light show, and smoke machine, David Wilburn Band will provide your club with a show many bands cannot match. Using wireless technology, David can be on the dance floor getting the party going. David started playing clubs with bands while in college in Rolla Mo. He was a founding member and lead singer for Legacy which was started in the early nineties playing country and rock. Bands that David has previously been a member of include Dakota, Shiloh, Cripple Creek and others, playing as far as St. Louis and Springfield Mo. and Paducah Ky. Ellen started playing keyboards at age 6. She joined Legacy in 2003 and continued until its end in late 2008. Legacy had several “house band” jobs running several months at a time and played many of the local private clubs. Steve Morrison, on lead guitar, was a founding member of Toyz band which was very popular in the Kennett area in the early nineties, working as a “house band” for several years. In 1993, Steve and Toyz had the honor of opening for 38 Special at their show in Poplar Bluff. The newest member of DWB is Brandon Reeder on drums. Brandon has been playing since age 10. His drumming style has been shaped by the hard rock and metal bands of the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. Formerly a member of “Butchered” a local death metal band, he has performed at places such as JUST BILL’S in St. Louis, Main Street Bar and The Enchanted Forest in Cape Girardeau, the Manhatten Room in Sikeston.
