VIC THOMPKINS & VTO Similar to most singers, Vic Thompkins discovered his talents as a vocalist at an early age in the church choir. During the summer and weekends Vic gained much awareness and experience accompanying his Father, R.C. Thompkins, who sang bass with various Gospel groups traveling throughout the southeast. Vic obtained most of his Vocal training at the celebrated, “Stamps School of Gospel Music” in California. He has sung with a variety of famous Gospel groups such as “The Journeymen”, “The Lefevre Singers”, “The Regents” and “The Sunny South Quartet”. In 1983 Vic’s interest turned to country and pop music. With a strong mellow voice he was a favorite wherever he performed. During his career, he has opened for some Major acts such as “The Oak Ridge Boys”, “Dave & Sugar” and “Bill Anderson”, to name a few. Vic has performed at many concert halls and clubs located throughout the United States. Elvis Presley’s former manager, the Legendary Colonel Tom Parker, took a special interest in Vic. After hearing a recording of his new songs Colonel Parker was so impressed he wrote a letter of reference for Vic to the William Morris Agency situated in New York City. Vic was then granted a rare interview upon the Colonel’s request in his Tennessee office. Several of Vic’s songs have charted in the top 10 on the Independent charts, “The Only Thing Going Was You” and “Dixie Without the USA”. Vic recently relocated to the Tampa area where he teamed up with vocalist Tallie Tadlock and Sandee Lester with a great bunch of professional musicians and is currently performing throughout the Tampa area.

Lauderdale, Vertigo is a high-energy group fronted by virtuostic saxophone and amazing male and female vocals. They can be seen energizing crowds throughout South Florida, Orlando, and Tampa at Private Parties, Corporate Functions, Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Special Occasions, and in some of the area's Hottest Night Spots including O'Hara's Jazz Cafe, Swig's, Blue Martini's, City Limits, The Clevelander, Mango's, and The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino just to name a few. Under the direction of saxophonist Anthony Church, an International performing and recording artist, the music is a unique blend of everything from R&B, Jazz, Latin, and Funk, to Disco, Dance, Pop, Rock, Reggae, and Contemporary Music. With a repetoire that will keep the dance floor moving it goes without saying Vertigo is one of the most sought after bands for Clubs, Weddings, Private Parties, and Corporate Events.

Starting out in Saint Pete,Leach and Ed moved to South West Florida where they met Q.B. and the creativity between the three of them flowed. Febuary was the release of there EP "The Laceration" and has been on podcast stations including insomnia and local stations including 92.5, radio interviews and shows of course followed.and they just got started.
We're a four member outfit based in Palm Bay Florida. We're not you're ordinary band. We like to have a lot of fun with our crowds and we often give merchandise away. People like to compare us to Fall Out Boy and Bayside. We don't know what we sound like, but we have always gotten good feedback from people at the shows.
