Pauline Reese is equipped with a full six piece band that is Country and Western. This includes Steel guitar,Fiddle,Telecaster,Upright Bass,Acoustic Guitar and Drums. Pauline and her band perform a great mix of original and cover tunes through a quality sound system with engineer. Other band members sing also, which makes for a very well rounded evening. Paulines latest CD has had two Texas Music Chart topping hits. Pauline can also be booked as a trio or quartet. Pauline was invited to sing on a CD with T. Gosney, Augie Meyers & Flaco Jimenez which was nominated for a Grammy in the Latin Category. She was nominated for an Emmy for a public service announcement with Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, and Little Joe Hernandez supporting the Julia Spears Foundation. She was asked to perform at Farm Aid 2006 & 2007 in New York with such legends as the Allman Brothers, John Cougar Mellencamp, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, Montgomery Gentry and many others. Pauline was the only returning act other than the board members to return to Farm Aid. Shortly after returning from New York she and the band jumped on a plane to Switzerland to perform as the headlining act to a sold out show! And due to the success of the show was asked a week later by European promoters to return for a tour in 2008. Her album “Too Texas” was nominated for album of the year in 2007 by the Academy of Texas Music! A song off that album “Lone Star Flag” is no nominated for record of the year in 2008. Currently she is in the studio cutting her fifth album fittingly called “Rolling Stone” after doing 271 shows last year. Pauline is looking forward to an exciting 2008 with a new sound and a new look! She is also expanding her career to acting! Pauline just got the lead female role in a movie! “Far Enough” will begin shooting summer 2008. She also has recently been asked to appear in a movie in Houston, Texas. More details soon.
