Who is Melissa Brooke? An 18-year-old, tall, Texas drink of water, Melissa is an involved teenager who is very passionate about anything she does, and is always ‘on the go’. Growing up just outside Fort Worth in Crowley, Texas. Much of her youth was spent on her grandfather’s cattle ranch where she learned to ride horses, becoming very good at barrel racing and competing in many local and area events. At 14, the family moved to Port Aransas where she found new interests in surfing and four wheeling, while “honing” her singing and songwriting skills at school, church, beach hangouts, and local venues. In January of last year, Melissa finished recording six initial tracks toward her debut studio album with Bill Green at BGM in San Antonio and will complete the full album this Jan. 2013. So now you know who Melissa Brooke is and yes, she is definitely a natural you will enjoy her music.
