His journey began when he moved from his hometown of Star City, AR to Branson, MO and continued on to his central destination of Nashville, TN. He has been honored to write, record or work with popular artists Gretchen Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Big And Rich, David Allen Coe, Brooks and Dunn, Marty Stuart, The Goo Goo Dolls, also legendary songwriters Walt Aldrich, Aaron Barker, Kim Williams, Rivers Rutherford , and Bob DiPiero to name a few. His biggest musical influences come from Bob Segar, Travis Tritt, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Guns N Roses, and Johnny Cash, whom Jared says has been his greatest influence. Jared has stated, "Johnny sings with power, conviction and truth. There is a strong connection that I feel with Jonny's talents, trials, and eternal belief in God." Jared shares everything from the true-life stories of his accomplishments and disappointments to future hopes and uncertainties, all while remaining close to his true being and musical style.
