About US
About Us:

Rick Saucedo began his singing career in 1972 at the age of seventeen. At this time he and his band worked nightly at many local clubs and lounges. As people began to take notice of this young talented "Elvis impersonator" he was approached by larger venues. In 1977 Rick performed at the Cabaret in Winnipeg, Canada. He was then asked to star in the Broadway play; "The Legend Lives On" in 1978. He performed six nights a week for five months, never using a stand-in. He helped arrange the music for the title song, "The Legend Lives On". Elvis' background vocal group, the Jordanaires accompanied Rick in the play, as well as D.J. Fontana. In 1979, he played the Stardust in Las Vegas, again accompanied by the Jordanaires and D.J. Music came naturally to Rick in many forms. As well as singing, Rick mastered guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, sitar and more. He also began to write music as well. The result was a style very much his own. Heaven Was Blue is now a rare collector's album and is sought after worldwide. 1998's Memphis, I'm Coming Home is completely written by Rick. He plays most of the instruments and has the original Jordanaires backing him on several songs. It has a heavy "Elvis" feel. He incorporates several of these songs in his show. This CD is now in it's second printing. To date, Rick has produced nine CD's. These include live performances, original music and favorite songs he performs regularly. In 1998 Rick went back on the road, this time to perform at the Alahambra Theatre in Aruba. He played to a full house every night for a month. This was Rick's first time performing with tracks. Upon his return to the states, he brought his track show to local clubs. For larger venues and festivals Rick performs with a live band. Rick has produced and directed complete shows in which he portrays each era of Elvis' musical career.
