About Us:

Bring the country back to country is what best describes Brian Keith. Keith, A Virginia native, is the most exciting bass baritone vocal acrobat to debut in years. You may find yourself harkening back to the vaunted class of '89 for legitimate comparisons. If you appreciate and miss George Jones, Keith Whitley, John Anderson, Dwight Yoakam, and Randy Travis, here's hope for the future. His vibrant live shows include original material and cover songs. Keith may well be the best of a promising crop of male vocalists. He owns a sincere, lights out bass baritone with plenty of vocal tricks. Keith met Nashville producer Jerry Cupit in the summer of 2002. Jerry is best known for writing the hit songs, "Jukebox Junkie" and "Ruba Dubin". Jerry has worked with country superstars: Ken Mellons, Tim McGraw, Lonestar, George Jones, John Anderson and Kevin Sharp. Keith made his first demo at Cupit Music which features 4 songs written by Jerry and co-writers such as: Ken Mellons, Dale Dobson, Gene Simmons, Joe Khoury. Gene Simmons co-wrote the song "Indian Outlaw", which was Tim McGraw's first Mega hit. When you first listen to Keith's demo, his phrasing and vocal tones echo those of his heroes Randy Travis and Keith Whitley strongly enough to be downright spooky. Listen to the whole demo and it's clear that Keith's country heroes left a deeper mark on the young singer than just a few vocal mannerisms. The demo is loaded with an arsenal of acoustic and electric instruments brilliantly blended. The drums are mercifully restrained and the guitar/steel texture, even on the ballads, are classy and gorgeous. "It was one of the greatest experiences of my life", states Keith. "The opportunity to work with Nashville musicians and studio engineer, Ron Treat, was awesome. At times I was blown away just realizing I was dealing with the same professional crew that worked with my country music heroes. I learned so much and continue to learn every time I visit." "I'm the kind of person who loves to have fun and make people laugh." Four the last four years Keith toured with the country gospel band, Narrow Road. "That was alot of fun, I think I drove some of the band members crazy with the pranks I consistently pulled. I love gospel music and what it stands for." Keith has found a way to create fresh, meaningful music that unmistakably country, appealing to traditionalists yet accessible to the new audiences of today. His self debut four track CD is what country music fans have been yearning for since Randy Travis thrust on the scene in the mid 80's. The songs were written and co-written by some of Nashville's finest. Fan favorite "Sawmill" is a fun, upbeat rendition of life as a musician on a sawmill. The song, "Learnin' to Live Without You", is gaining radio airplay and has an eerie Whitley, Lefty feel to it. "A Couple of Old Wisemen" is a beautiful ballad that shows the authenticity od Keith's vocal abilities. Last but not least, "Hard Headed Heart" is a honky tonk favorite that pokes fun of a man believing he's better off without his woman.
