Tio Ed is a 3 piece roadhouse rhythm and blues band from Austin, Texas. The band features the soulful vocals, refined harmonica, and smokin' guitar of Ed Kliman. The hard hitting rhythm section includes Lee Thompson on drums, and Steven Allen playing bass. Not just another Texas blues/Stevie Ray Vaughan clone band, Tio Ed features strong vocals along with authentic blues guitar stylings and virtuoso harp chops. It's all about the song, not endless instrumental noodling. Drawing on musical influences as diverse as Muddy Waters to Motown hits of the 60's, this band never fails to entertain. With over 75 years of combined playing experience, Tio Ed know how to satisfy an audience and keep feet on the dance floor. NOTE ON THE DEMO SONGS: The medley featured here includes 4 songs, Big Boss Man, Close To You, Unchain My Heart, and Ain't Livin' Long Like This. These songs were recorded live, no overdubs, so what you hear is what you get. Harp Attack, an original tune, was recorded the same way, except for the harp.
