Mareva, with her sultry voice and sexy movements on stage could only cause you to listen and watch as she captures the audience?s attention. Born in Los Angeles, California of Caucasian and Tahitian descent has been vocally playing music since she was a little girl growing up. She has performed throughout Southern California. She has been exposed to a variety of music her whole life and has captured the essence of each type of music has merge it in with her own style. She has performed from Junior High bands to supper clubs, dance clubs and huge outside concerts. Mareva has two underground dance hits in the East Coast radio stations. She also has television appearances and performed with various artists under her belt. Larry, Bass player and vocalist, can play salsa with that feel of a salsero and turn around and slap the bass like a heavy funk player. Born in Los Angeles, California of Mexican decent has been playing music since his teenage years. He has performed throughout the western states. Growing up from a family of musicians he has been exposed to various instruments throughout his whole live. He learned to play keyboards, drums and guitar prior to picking up the bass. As a teenager he started playing backyard parties and moved in quickly into the nightclub circuit at a very young age. Larry and his brothers formed a family band as a hobby. He started to work as a hired gun for various bands throughout southern California. As he continued his career as a professional bass player, his dream was to have his own group to manage. He then formed KAOS and has since been the leader of the group. Here are some of his accomplishments: He has worked and played for Sheila E, The Intruders, Mary Wells, El Chicano, Thee Midniters, The Coasters, The Drifters and Tierra just to name a few. He has worked on various projects throughout California at various recording studios. He has performed in front of thousands of cheering fans with a variety of bands all along the West Coast. Influences: Larry Graham, Stanley Clarke, Brothers Johnson, Verdeen White, George Duke, Pastoras, Parliament, Maze, Cachao, Sly Stone, Alfonso Johnson, Rocco Prestia, James Jamerson. Wardell, Keyboard player and vocalist is a multi-instrumentalist that has the speed and accuracy of a bullet when playing keyboards. He is a walking encyclopedia of music. Born of Cajun and Caucasian decent Wardell comes from a family of musicians. His father is a professor of music at a well-known university and also performs thru out the United States as a Jazz Pianist and plays trombone with a well known Dixieland band. Wardell plays numerous instruments. He is proficient in trumpet, guitar, bass, and is an accomplished keyboardist. He also has recorded is own projects which have had air play in Louisiana. He can perform as a solo pianist as well as play electronic keyboards with top 40 bands. He also produced and arranged music for various artist. Influences: Herbie Hancock, Ian Hammer, Bruce Hornsby, Larry Harlow, Chester Thompson, Chic Corea, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, Styx, Jimmy, Lead guitar player and vocalist, has the lighting finger speed for solos and a funk style to keep up with the best. Jim Rodriguez born in Los Angeles of Puerto Rican descent got his first instrument, a drum set when he was three years old. Being that his father was a percussionist and his mother a music teacher and concert violinist, it was obvious that music ran thick in the blood of his family. When he reached the age of seven, his parents decided to put him and his brother in a private school of music in Los Angeles. His instructor, Betty McFarland saw incredible potential in the child and gave him lessons on the piano for five years. He put together a rock band with his brother on drums when he was fifteen years old playing hits of the late sixties and seventies. He then did a lot of performing at backyard parties and various events. By the time he was 18 he already was performing at nite clubs playing Top 40 throughout Southern California. Influences: George Benson, Santana, Norman Brown, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Gary Moore, Bruce Conti, Eddie Van Halen, Jonathan Butler, Bobby Caldwell, Paul Jackson Jr., Maurice Ramirez, Robert Conte Adam, Drummer, has plenty of background under his belt! The timing could not have been better anywhere else. From the beginning of 'A' genre to 'Z' no holding back on any style. Adam grew up in Minneapolis where he began playing drums at the age of twelve. The eclectic music scene nurtured his early talents and soon he was apprenticing with renowned artists including Michael Bland (Prince), Gordy Knutson (Steve Miller), Marv Dahlgren (author of Drum Set Control), and Jessy Wheeler (Music Tech). After a period of working with both academic and local ensembles throughout high school, Adam's desire for a more challenging musical environment led him to enroll in the world famous University of North Texas in the fall of 1994 on a Jazz Studies scholarship. During his five semesters at North Texas, Adam was engaged in a variety of ensembles including the Four O'Clock Lab Band, the Zebras fusion ensemble, and numerous small jazz groups. Adam studied privately with the venerable Ed Soph for two years developing technique, sight-reading, jazz repertoire, and stylistic concepts. Other disciplines included music theory, piano, four-mallet marimba studies, orchestral snare drum, and multi-cultural hand drumming and percussion. After professional performance, recording and teaching opportunities became increasingly demanding, Adam left UNT in order to pursue his career full time. Adam just came back from a European tour with a Russian Elvis tribute band called ?The Red Elvises?. KAOS will enlighten your night with good music and entertainment.
