For the past 4 years, Hill Country Jane has been steadily gaining momentum in the Texas Music scene. Starting out as an acoustic trio in Austin, and now back in their hometown of Houston, Hill Country Jane has evolved into a powerful 5 piece who's sound lies somewhere on the outskirts of honky-tonk country and not so mainstream rock and roll. Some call it "Redneck Rock 'n Roll." With the release of their sophomore LP, "The Great Charade", the buzz about this up and coming band is growing louder and louder. A Hill Country Jane show really has a little something for everybody. Two-step slow and close to the title track "The Great Charade," get a little countrified with "As it is in Texas," then rock out to "What I'm Looking For." Whatever your preference may be, make no mistake, from an all acoustic show to the full blown festival, these smokin' hot sons of Southeast Texas bring it to you every time.
