About Us:

Bio The E Flatt Band Ernie Flatt was born Ernest Allen Flatt Jr. in Nashville Tennessee on December 25, 1971. He is a third generation singer/songwriter who started playing at the age of six. By the time he was twelve he was playing for money. Ernie has played in several bands which include, Revolver, Vizions, Dixie Express and the regionally popular Nuthin' Fancy Band. Ernie also shares a wide variety of influences that contribute to his style of writing and singing. You can listen to his songs and get the feel of the Eagles on one track then flip to the country of the eighties such as Ronnie Milsap, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty and George Jones. His tastes and styles also include some of the more edgy sounds of the seventies rock bands such as Bad Company, Peter Frampton and the J. Giles Band. With so many influences fused together it isn't surprising that Ernie has a sound that doesn't sound like anyone else's. Ernie and the guys are no stranger to the stage. They love nothing better than to just cut loose and have a good time with the crowd just doing what they love. If you want to hear some soulful sounds that come from the heart then you have found what you're looking for, Ernie Flatt and the E Flatt Band Larry Miller Drums Larry began playing drums on cardboard boxes at the age of 8 and eventually moved on to playing on a real drum set and that's where he found his passion to play. Through out the years he has become a well known drummer in the Cincinnati area. Larry and a couple of his friends started a rock band in high school, which then led to playing in his mom and dads local church, also at the community Pentecostal church with Pastor Tommy Bates who is now featured on TBN with his two sons Josh and Eric. Larry has filled in with well know artist like Betty Jean Robinson and Candy Christmas to name a few. After a few years He began getting more serious about playing and started looking for a group to audition for. Which founded him a position with Midnight Rain. In the past he has played a wide variety of music from country, rock, jazz, to gospel. After venturing with several bands he realized its time to take his drum playing experience to the next level, that's when he met up with Ernie and the Eflatt Band. From here he hopes to see you in Nashville... By age fourteen he joined a local Southern gospel group. At age seventeen he made the switch to country and joined a group called the Blackwater Band and played mostly the outlying areas of the Dayton and Columbus areas in Ohio. In 1995 he joined a group named Shadow Ridge who went on to win the K-99.1 FM's battle of the bands and got to open some pretty prestigious events for some fairly big names such as T Graham Brown, Shenandoah, and Leroy Parnell to name a few. In 1998 Dale joined the group Stone Hart which was founded by the son of local celeb Donnie Bowshier who had a local hit with the single Stone Heart. They played mostly local clubs, fairs, and conventions where they got to open for and hang out with some pretty big names, such as Darryl Singletary, Pam Tillis, Jessica Andrews, and Blake Shenton. Dale then took a job with the Boot Hill Band (a house band for local favorite Johnny's Dating Lounge) . With influences like Vince Gill, Brent Mason, and Brad Paisley it isn't' hard to see why he has been nicknamed the twangmeister by the guys in the group Rex Wright Engineer/Technical Asst.
