JT, aka 'JTronius', has a very distinct look and sound. Originally from Texas, JT arrived in Boston,MA several years ago to attend Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, JT & The Dirty Truth was formed by amazing songwriters and musicians to bring the masses a funky voyage known as either 'Psychedelic Peppermint Paradise' or 'Purple Butter Passion'. JT has a soulful funkadelic sound that would make George Clinton and Sam Cooke very proud. Many remember JT in the New England and NY areas as he performed with the world music/hip-hop group, III Kings. They shared the stage with many hot artists in the industry including Damian Marley, Busta Rhymes, The Roots, Talib Kweli, and N.E.R.D.... He is an old soul with an incredible vibe, implausible stage presence, and a smashing band to match. This is a musical venture that will definitely bring some life back to the current state of popular music.
Emilio Arredondo (Houston, TX), fiddle player and bandleader, had a dream of playing in a Celtic Rock band since the age of 11. Ever since he invented air-fiddle during a hot summer in June. He was seeing his favorite bands for the fisrt time, The Killdares, at the Scottish Festival in Texas. Ever since that day he had been inspired to play Celtic music and tried many time to start a band. Several years later, after being accepted to Berklee College of Music, he put an advertisement out on the Berklee Music website. Inquiring for musicians to play in a Celtic Rock band. He then heard from a bass player named Kyle Hovland (Hartford, CT). That same night he also heard from a piano player named Dan Beseda (Stockton, CA). Emilio later came to find out that these amazing musicians were friends and had more friends interested in Emilio’s Celtic Rock band. After Kyle and Dan had been auditioned and part of the band, it seemed to take flight just like the phoenix from it’s ashes. Dan introduced an amazing metal guitarist, Joe Devenney (Philadelphia, PA), who fit right in and had already been at Berklee for a year. He in turn brought his awesome drummer from his band, Jeff Hale (Richland, MI). Jeff had been at Berklee for a year as well and is one of the best drummers Emilio has ever worked with. All these phenomenal musicians are exactly when Emilio was hoping to get. The band will go far with everyone’s great attitude and randomness with each other. The bands officially formed in late December 2008 and are getting ready to make their premier performance soon!
