About Us:

Dana Starkell is a professional classical guitarist now performing in the Quad Cities area. Dana is available for all occasions in the surrounding areas of the QUAD CITIES, DES MOINES, IOWA CITY, and CHICAGO. For the past two years, Dana performed at a variety of venues in San Diego, Dallas, Houston, & Austin. Dana began refining his skills as a classical guitarist while undertaking a world record 12,000 mile canoe trip from Canada to Brazil. During a break in Port of Spain, he was befriended by Philip Keiler (a student of New York guitarist, Alice Artz). This friendship led to Dana's first formal concert at The University of the West Indies in Trinidad. After returning from the canoe trip, Dana won top prize in the Senior Classical Guitar category of the Manitoba Music Festival in 1983. Since that time, he has attended master classes held by the world renowned classical guitarist Christopher Parkening, and taken lessons from John Sutherland, David Brandon, and Norbert Kraft. Dana has performed extensively in classical, renaissance, spanish, and baroque styles since 1982. Having released six recordings of classical guitar music, he has a wide selection of music to compliment your event, large or small. Dana has a great passion for music and you will appreciate his prompt and professional service. Please contact us for additional information about Dana Starkell and his services.

About Us:

Having released their debut album, The Great Lakes Sing Plaine Songs to critical acclaim in early February 2006, the Lakes are once again hard at work recording tracks for an upcoming album of songs they've been writing and playing over the last few months. The Great Lakes are available for all types of events. Right now they are focused mainly in Iowa City but would like to travel eventually. The music could be considered country rock or maybe even contemporary rock. The music is a mix of dance music and slow songs. The Great Lakes includes an acoustic guitar played by the lead singer (all songs are original), a drummer, bassist, violinist, and banjo. The Great Lakes are a talented group and can be flexible to different venues.

About Us:

The Trux consists of 4 talented musicians on stage along with several extremely supportive friends and family behind the scenes that help make this band look and sound great. The style of this group is mainly "3 Decades of Rock" from the 60s, 70s, and 80s with a couple tunes from other eras just to shake things up.

About Us:

The KING?S KISS is not an ordinary look back in time. It?s a fun and entertaining spoof of nostalgia that will keep an audience hanging on to see what will happen next. a KING?S KISS performance combines the most explosive songs from the hottest band in the land with the energy and vocal styling of the King himself, performed by EZ Benelli, a poor Elvis impersonator from Reno, Nevada, and in turn takes everyone back 30 years for a 2 hour look at two of the most influential music icons of the 70?s. The show incorporates the craziness and gimmickry that surrounded KISS and Elvis throughout their turbulent careers, with a twisted sense of past and present. Using satire and exaggeration, a KING?S KISS show brings to life images of yesteryear that true KISS and Elvis fans embrace as they relive the past. As for the boys in the band, The KING?S KISS is a way to keep their heroes alive while feeding their alter egos. The band has questionable taste, and suffers from their own unique dementia, which only fuels madness. Yes, some may not get it right away, but it is exactly what it is, through nonsense and buffoonery, The KING?S KISS will rock the house and make any event memorable. From the Doc, ?Royal physician, tattoos, and psychologist extraordinaire to The KING?S KISS?, keeping EZ alive, to the may horrible one-liners that will be dropped before the night is through each performance is tailored to fit any occasion, and will be sure to keep patrons talking until next time. The KING?S KISS is available as a headlining act for any large rock production or club show. Dates are subject to availability, and a 2 month advance booking is preferred for proper promotional reasons. However, in the event your venue is faced with a time- constrained situation, The KING?S KISS can usually accommodate for a show on shorter notice with a possibly more limited production. There are many years of musical experience and expertise involved in the production of a KING?S KISS performance, and The KING?S KISS, along with the King?s Court Staff, will ensure that your next club show, holiday, rally, bar-mitzvah, wake, or wedding will be a memorable experience. THE KING?S KISS IS: Deuce Frehley ? Not to be confused with his substance-enhanced cousin Ace ?Guitars, Vocals Pull Sternly ? Yes, ladies, that?s why they call him Pull ? Guitars Geen Sikkens ? He?s one sick bastard ? Bass, Vocals Peter Von Klitz - Catnip Addict ? Drums & Percussion Featuring ? EZ Benelli ? Not to be confused with a REAL Elvis impersonator ? As the Lead Vocalist.
