We are JD & Company, an original jazz band mixing elements of jazz, funk, latin and rock. The band is now available as a quartet with violin and keyboards in addition to the guitar-based backbone. We are available for corporate events, showcases, festivals, weddings, club dates and anywhere where ambiance is a most welcome addition to eating, drinking and being merry. Identity Crisis has been playing the Chicago Bar scene since January of 2004. With performances at venues like The Cubby Bear, Durty Nellies, Kaz Bar and Goose Island, they are quickly becoming local favorites for high quality "live" rock and roll. Specializing in 90's rock from bands such as STP and Pearl Jam, audiences are constantly amazed by the vocal talents of lead singer Ed Wood, who brings a level of perfection not found in most cover bands. Musically covering great rock from the 80's, 90's and today, Identity Crisis has the ability to conform their setlist to any event. "Classic rock from artists like the Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Doors is not overlooked either, if the mood is right.." exclaims Mark Angres, the bands drummer. Past corporate clients include The Chicago White Sox, UIC Medical center and the River North Condo Association to name a few. Comprised of violin, viola, and cello, Affinity String Trio is one of the most sought after performing groups in Chicago. All degreed music professionals, the members have performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, on 98.7 FM, and also Marshall Field's Walnut Room.
