About Us:

Point5 is "talented, charismatic, classy, in depth, emotional, heart felt, and fly as a pelican!" This St. Louis native, grew up in a world of hip hop fans and attitude. However at 20 years of Age, this now well known, franchise boi gave his everything to Jesus Christ. Just 2 days later, God imparted into him a gift and a talent to minister to people with a new sound! A sound of hope, glory, and reverence to God. Point5 is nothing short of a "christian hustler." His entrepenual ability and business attitude made him president of Pure Productions and his commitment to lost souls made him a wonderful minister of the word. "Point5 is the only guy I know that will do a show in front of hundreds of people one night and be out early the next morning, on the streets, proclaiming the gospel. Then in the afternoon he's slanging cd's out of the trunk and by the evening he's out supporting another artist! The kids got heart." Performing all over the nation, big or small, fancy or rugged, rich or poor, Point5 is there! This is not your average artist! This is truly what christian music is all about. His "fly boi" attitude draws you in, and his compassion, and love for you and God is what changes your life...and he's just the opening Act!

About Us:

The Hoyle Brothers approach their music the way a preacher might prepare for a sermon: Reference the good Book, find a theme that resonates and deliver it with fire and passion. That's what makes The Hoyle Brothers so special. Their brand of genuine country music draws from the genre's deepest traditions--lyrics that speak universal truths, melody lines that melt your heart and two-step rhythms that make your boots scoot. The Hoyle Brothers didn't set out to reshape the country music landscape. The boys just wanted to play the kind of music they heard as kids on AM radios--tunes that their fathers hummed on the way to work and that brought on tears when family life got a little rocky. Since the start of weekly residencies at Chicago's The Hideout and The Empty Bottle in 2002, The Hoyle Brothers have earned respect and recognition from a growing number of fans and music critics who find the boys' purity of purpose and first-rate musicianship irresistible. Some go a step further, predicting The Hoyle Brothers will eventually show Nashville that its current roster of pop-minded, new country stars needs a little of The Hoyle Brothers' battered boot leather and real country soul. For their part, The Hoyle Brothers invite you to see what the buzz is all about for yourself. Check out their touring schedule, sample some of their fine real country music and don't forget to pass along a "hi-dee-ya-ho" when you see the boys live.

About Us:

Dan Whitaker and The Shinebenders Dan Whitaker & The Shinbenders play their own version of country music. It blends classic country, western swing, hillbilly and outlaw and features Whitaker's original country and western material. The combo also plays a variety of country classics ranging from the 1940's period of Hank Williams and Ernest Tubb through the 50's and 60's, with artists such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Charlie Pride, Bob Dylan, and into the 70's outlaw era of Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, The Allman Brothers, and Gram Parsons. And yes, this means they won't play Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, or Big & Rich no matter how many times you ask. DWSB has been playing frequently in the Chicago area and the surrounding cities over the past three years, including noted shows at Arlington Park and The Chicago Country Music Festival. Their new CD, Shinebender, is available via most on-line retailers such as Amazon.com, and also for download from Itunes. Your Final Ride, Dan Whitaker's first country release, is also available at these sites.
