Ever since Carrie Underwood hit the stage on American Idol, she was an instant Cinderella story and America’s new sweetheart. CARNIVAL RIDE is the tribute to the remarkable CARRIE UNDERWOOD. Mindy Harris (“Carrie”) is an unbelievable talent from beginning to end and has a presence about her that screams star! Her vocals are dead-on and her backing band is a great line up of professionals with individual successes, including international performances and sharing the stage with other noted stars.
Mindy Harris was born and raised in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, Arizona. Mindy’s true passion has always been writing, singing and performing. And so the story goes.
Mindy leads her own band, The Mindy Harris Band, delivering high energy and attitude with current and classic country hits along with a sprinkle of southern rock. The decision to develop “Carnival Ride” was the result of the comments on her similar appearance to Carrie Underwood, but mostly to her ability to belt out the tunes. Mindy assembled the initial song list from Carrie’s past performances and then plunged headfirst into rehearsals. The band is meticulous about duplicating the songs note for note and makes it look effortless.
Carnival Ride, a tribute to Carrie Underwood starring Mindy Harris has since performed to sold out shows of Carrie Underwood fans and is currently available for Regional, National and International bookings, festivals, private parties and corporate events.
