The Lucky Strikes are a full time professional lounge, swing and jazz band based in Austin, Texas. Together for over ten years, they specialize in vocal and big band standards from the 40s and 50s as well as original tunes written in the same style. Selections include many favorites by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Chet Baker, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. The Lucky Strikes play at dozens of weddings each year and appear weekly at local jazz clubs and restaurants. With three CDs released, the band has toured throughout the U.S.A. and Canada performing in almost every state. Ideal for weddings, this is music that combines the class and style of the 40s and 50s with the youthful energy of a real working swing band!
Since their beginning in 1991, The Grooves have become Texas favorite entertainment, performing all styles of music to rave audiences all over the world. The Grooves show is an exciting combination of classic rock, Motown, oldies, disco, country, standards, swing, eighties dance, plus all the most up to date dance music. We play wedding receptions, high school proms, Holiday parties, birthday parties, and graduation parties. Our "mission" is to deliver an electrifying show to all ages. The Grooves also have a Motown/Disco show band complete with costumes and choreography.

Rene "The Metronome" Hernandez on drums brings his soulful beat and high energy playing to the stage and is the solid foundation of the rhythm section.
Rounding out the rhythm section is Paul Sanchez on bass and vocals. Paul??|s many years of performing experience on stage as well as in the studio translates into a river of rhythm that flows easily throughout the night.
Paul Valero on keys. Disguised as a mild mannered piano teacher by day, by night he transforms in to a synthesizer super hero. Able to hold an entire brass section in one hand while balancing a lite stringed orchestra in the other. Paul is able to effortlessly coax those multiplexed melodies from his artificial ivories.
