Why should I use an agent to book a band for my event?
We understand that the process of hiring a band for any event can be fairly daunting if you aren’t familiar with it. Let us help you find bands in your area that will match your preferences as well as your budget. We will even provide a contract so that your interests are protected.

What does the booking process involve?
To hire a band for your event, click the “Browse Bands” link at the top of the page.

  • You can browse in your area to find a band you like, or you can contact us for assistance with this.
  • Once you have found a band you like, you can add them to your Interest List by clicking the “Inquire About This Band” link.
  • You will see a form on the screen. Take a moment to provide us with a few details about your event.
  • We will contact you to discuss the band’s availability and pricing, as well as your needs for your event.
  • We will continue to assist you to the day of the event, and we will remind the band as the day of the event nears.

Why should I use Book A Band to find gigs?
As “band brokers,” we are here to help your band gain exposure to clients who are interested in booking your band for their events.

  • We assist you in refining the promotional material on your band page to draw in clients.
  • We are constantly looking for new way to increase traffic to the site so that your band gets the exposure it needs.
  • We keep you updated with gig opportunities and communicate with you directly.
  • If your band consistently shows up for the gig on time and clients provide positive feedback, we will continue to recommend your band to future clients.

How can I create a band profile on BookABand?
Just click the “Band Sign Up” link at the top of the page, and fill in your band’s information.

How do I get my band added to featured bands list?
The featured bands list costs $200 per year. Call and talk to an agent about getting listed. Your band will be listed on the left side featured bands list. The band will also be able to list their contact info on the profile page. This way if clients want to book you directly they will be able to call you, email you, or go to your website from your profile page. This will cut our agents out of the picture in a lot of cases but you will be paying for that feature.

I can’t remember my password. How do I log in?
If you have lost your password, simply click the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the left side of the page, and provide us with the email address you used to create your account. A randomly generated password will be emailed to your address.
