The group was started by Joe Giattina in 1979. The Joe Giattina Orchestra plays all the swing band music from the 40's' to today. The band plays club dances, wedding receptions, birthdays, class reunions and has been Birmingham's premier dance orchestra for over 25 years.
Joe Giattina passed away in 1998 and Bill Jeffries took the leadership. This band plays all the popular Big Band Tunes from Glen Miller to Count Basie. We also have many 60's tunes in our book. We are a band for all occasions.
